Some offer a 2 tier program. This allows you promote the program to other affiliate marketers, who in turn sell the product to others and you receive a commission on their sales as well.

One thing I would recommend in promoting a product is to buy the product yourself, as this puts you in a stronger position to promote the product.

Your own website

It may appear that one doesnt really need to have a website to start marketing affiliate products. This is true. Marketing affiliate products without a website may be easy, but being successful in affiliate marketing without a website is another thing.

I would recommend that you have your own website. This will create a lot of advantages in affiliate marketing. It will provide a place where you can creatively promote your affiliate products. With your website you can advertise to a much wider market.

Stick to it.

Keep trying; dont get disappointed if your first attempts dont pay off. When you sign up to a program dont expect to get rich in an instant. Work on you advertising strategies, make adjustments. Look for different ways to promote your product. Most of all be patient. Youll never know how successful you could be if you dont persevere.
