There are many ways of promoting a web based business. One of the most effective ways is to promote you website or product is by launching an article marketing campaign. Article marketing is one of the internet marketing methods which can generate the best targeted results for you. This is really important because if the means of promotion is not effective, the product will not get the required level of promotion and will not do well. Article marketing is also one of the best ways of promoting a web based business or selling a product online. Targeted article marketing is not only cost effective but can bring you highly targeted, ready to buy visitors.
Online article marketing can be done successfully by writing a lot of articles on a daily basis and by submitting these to the right article submission directories. Submission of articles to the right directories is as important as writing really good content about the topic. The technique of writing a really good and content rich article that will answer the reader's question is something you need to learn if you want to write informative articles quickly. The words you use should be your own as online article marketing is very much dependent on the originality and quality of your articles.
Write as many articles as possible, organize them properly and submit them to the right article directories in the right order and you will have a successful article marketing campaign.

Should your online articles have a lot of content or be thinly written? Many online articles authors are upset that other others write trite thinly written articles and these critics of short articles do indeed make a very good point indeed. This is problematic and troubling and they have a right to be a little frustrated over this issue.
One thing I find interesting is the number of business articles that are written by folks who have never really done anything in business and yet write articles as if they know everything about business. It seems that just because someone can write a decent article with good sentence structure, does not necessarily make them a knowledge based authority or expert. Just because an author writes a good grammatically correct article does not mean they know what they are talking about.
When we talk about reader perception of an author's credentials, it seems we ought to also talk about deception, trickery or even questionable marketing ploys as well. You see just because someone has a degree in business, well it is not the same as winning in the free-market. If one can only succeed on the key board should they be allowed to give advice as if reality based to those who are searching for real answers?
Another point, I would like to make about the online article author critic's astute observation is this; often online article writer's write thin content as to not give away too much, only enough to entice the reader to click to their website. This has also been recommended in the many eBooks on Online Article Marketing and this constitutes a "Catch 22" for some authors and they will need to work this out for themselves?
Do they write thinly done articles with minimal content, just enough to wet the appetite or do they go full on and write one of my 1500 word articles and explain everything in depth. Having written many of both types for various reasons, this might also become part of this conversation between article authors and their critics in upcoming dialogues?
And also as part of the conversation, where is that line to be drawn. I mean I can probably write an entire eBook on just about any subject I have 10 or more articles in or one or more white papers on half of those categories. Yet, this is an article submission site? And the critics you have to admit bring up a really good point. Everyone wants to be thin, but is it unhealthy for your online article marketing endeavors to be too thin or too rich in content? You decide.

Even if you are a beginner to affiliate marketing, it is possible for you to get started in five easy steps. Here they are:
Step #1 - Choose A Profitable Market
Choosing a profitable market is very important because you do not want to be in a market that cannot produce profit for you. A profitable market is a market, which has many potential customers and many products for affiliate marketers to promote.
Step #2 - Select A Good Product To Start
After you find which market is profitable, then you need to choose a good product to start. Do not start with many products; most affiliate beginners make this one critical mistake.
When one product starts producing sales, you can start with another. Focusing on one product at a time will produce better results for you in the long-term.
Step #3 - Create Follow-up Email Series
From the beginning, even before your visitors seeing your web site, you should create follow-up email series by using autoresponder service or software.
Follow-up email series are just a collection of emails, which are pre-written and pre-scheduled to send to your visitors if they have signed up with your subscription form. These follow-ups allow you more time to contact and build relationships with your visitors in the future.
Step #4 - Build A Professional Landing Page
A landing page is just a simple web page with a subscription form for visitors to sign up as your subscribers. After they sign up, they will start getting follow-up email series from you. Plus, you also have more chance to send email promotions to them.
Step #5 - Generate Massive Web Traffic To Your Landing Page
There are many ways to generate web traffic to your web site, here are some of them: article marketing, pay-per-click search engine, market-related forum, blog commenting, yahoo answer, etc. Try to experience with the above techniques one-by-one. After some times, you will know which method brings the best traffic for you.
Conclusion
Even you are a beginner to affiliate marketing business, you can get started in just five simple steps: choose a profitable market, select a good product, create follow-up email series, build a landing page, and drive massive traffic to your landing page. After you start seeing sales from this one product, you can start adding more products to your list. Remember, it takes time and efforts before you master these basic steps.

The primary purpose of article marketing is to relay a message that you know will be of importance to your recipients. This is the only way that you can measure the efficiency and the success rate of your article - when you know that your article material has reached the people who need your information. It is for this reason that it is being suggested for article marketers to follow the below written guidelines to achieve an effective article marketing scheme.
1. Make sure you understand how the information that you have included on your article can be of use to your readers. When you know the answer to this, you will not then have a difficulty in understanding what sort of information that needs to be included on it. Always consider that the information that you put on it shall be used as a basis to come up with decisions.
2. Make sure that your readers have, to the least, an ample amount of understanding of what you are conveying to them. This means that whatever information that you include on your article, make sure that it is not a total stranger in the perception of the reader. Make sure that a generalized idea or concept is provided somewhere on the contents to promote an air of understand ability.
3. Consider the various types of readers that your article material may be encountering. Significantly, you have to make sure that your article material should be able to adapt with the immense cultural and intellectual differences of the readers. It is only with this that clear understanding of the article material can be achieved.
4. Proactively solicit for any feedback or suggestion that concerns the information that you have included on your article. This will make the writer more competent the next time he writes and all at the same time, it allows for diverse ideas to amalgamate that can produce far better form of information.
