Business owners employ all kinds of strategies to get desired results in the highly-competitive world of online marketing. The key is to drive in targeted traffic to your website and then get the visitors converted into customers. For this to happen, you need an appealing website along with competent brand promotion strategies.
Most businesses today are aiming at optimising their websites for encouraging search engine optimisation results. Paid advertising, affiliate marketing and email marketing are some of the other most commonly used techniques by marketers. However, it is imperative to note here that most of these techniques involve the use of money in some or the other way.
Here lies the importance of article writing as a means of promoting a site. Highly effective, inexpensive and easily manageable, this strategy can truly take your business to new heights. The greatest advantage of writing articles is that you get to reach out to a targeted segment that comprises your potential buyers.
Produce good write-ups and then share or post them on online platforms like article directories and e-zines. By doing so, you ensure that your website is well-exposed in the online marketplace. You can get a link back from the directory where you submit your articles, or else, give information about your company in the resource box. Since link exchange strengthens off-page SEO, this tactic will do a world of good for your site.
More than anything else, these articles are free advertising tools for your website. If you write relevant and informative stuff, you are bound to get noticed, and that too by targeted customers who are looking for related topics. However, a writer has to ensure that his write-ups do not have a marketing touch, because many directories refuse to accept such articles.
One of the most effective means of website promotion is marketing through search engines. Writing articles can help you in this regard. Incorporate important keywords and write search engine friendly articles so as to attract search engine spiders and get your site crawled.
Once you have posted articles and shared them on online forums, you will start getting comments, references and testimonials from web users and webmasters. This will stand your site and business in good stead and further get you high-value traffic.

Attracting large numbers of ezines and webmasters is the cornerstone of success for any article marketing program. The more sites that publish your work, the more money you will make. If twenty ezines publish your article, it can get 20,000 page views. The question is, how do you entice these influential ezines. Use the following techniques to polish your article for these influential publishers.
Put all of your links in the resource box. Self-serving links in the body of the article is a definite turn-off for ezines and webmasters. Keep all of your links in the resource box.
Don't try to load up your resource box with links from every affiliate you deal with. One or two well thought out links will serve you much better than four or five.
Do a thorough spelling and grammar check on your work. Most word processors come with one, make sure you use it. In addition, do a slow and careful proofreading of your article. Your spelling checker will identify the word "kite" as being spelled correctly, even though you intended to type the word "kit." Only a thorough reading will find this kind of error.
Space your article by separating it into a number of different paragraphs. It makes it easier to read from the computer screen and creates less eye-strain.
Keep your personal life history to yourself. No one really cares where you went to school or how many kids you have. Stay focused on the core information that your article provides.
Provide targeted information rather than broad generalities. Unless it is a new concept, most people are not looking for broad generalities. They want specific details. Articles that explain the what, where, why, and how of a concept are much more widely distributed than articles than ramble on about generalities.
Most ezines and webmasters want to provide their readers with the best product possible. They want readers to come back next week and the week after that. With so many articles to choose from, ezines can afford to be choosy. Ezines and webmasters will choose the best article possible that minimizes mistakes and maximizes information. Provide a quality product that satisfies these goals and you may attract large numbers of ezines.

If you have been in the internet for quite sometime, you probably know that article marketing is one of the best ways to make money over the World Wide Web. It is one of the most effective marketing tool in promoting your product, building qualified traffic to your website, and increasing your quality inbound links that can lead to impressive page ranking. And that is not the best part yet - did you know that it is also absolutely for free?
Here are the 3 amazing steps to make money through article marketing:
1. Know how article marketing works. This is relatively easy. All you need to do is write informative and useful articles and submit them to leading publishing sites. Don't forget to include your resource box that contains your name, your expertise, and your website's URL. When people see that your articles are well-written and content-rich, they will consider you as an expert on your chosen niche and a great writer who have the information they need. They would then click on your resource box to give your website a visit thus increasing your traffic.
2. To increase your conversation rate, I recommend that you write about topics that are closely related to the topic of your website. For instance, if you are running an internet marketing company, you may want to write about "10 tips on how you can rank better on Google" or "How to properly optimize your website". People who are interested in improving their page ranking might be compelled to check on your services.
3. Avoid submitting the same article to several article submission sites as you might be flagged for duplicate content. To avoid this from happening, rewrite your article and create 3 to 4 unique versions of it that will pass the anti-plagiarism tests.

Everybody knows the power of article marketing. It is an undispensable tool for any serious marketer or website owner. There simply is no better way to provide good content for users and also be rewarded with traffic, the life-blood of any enterprise on the internet. And marketing health articles is no exception.
That brings to mind the question, "What is the best subject to write on?" While not an easy answer, one of the most searched subjects on the internet is anything health-related. Health articles are in huge demand. There is an almost limitless need for health related information on the the internet.
If health is a great area to concentrate writing articles on, how do I maximize my efforts to drive traffic to my website?
After all, you have at least 2 purposes in writing an article; one is to provide good content, the other is to use that article as a vehicle to drive traffic to your own website.
The first answer is to provide a really high-quality article. It must be backed by research and written in an interesting, yet informative manner. Because of the quality of this article, it should be picked up by the Search Engines and is more likely to be read by surfers. Some refer to this as "Bum Marketing". A simple process that involves writing targeted articles and submitting them to the article directories. You then get to use the benefit of the increased traffic to monetize your site.
While this has been proven to be a very effective strategy, do you realize that there are at least two other ways that involve the use of a health article, but with a twist?
The second way involves the use of audios. How can audios be used? I thought this article is about articles, not audio. It is, but with a twist. The audio actually sends traffic to the article. The easiest way is to offer free simple health audios that involve your specific subject matter and then, provide a link to the article that you have on your website. A short health article will be okay as well, it doesn't have to be a long novel.
Finally, the third method focuses on using video. What does video have to do with articles? Another valid question. The shortest answer is to say YouTube. The idea is to take a simple medical video, post it on You Tube with a link back to your site. The video is viewed on YouTube (or any number of other video-centric sites) and the viewer will follow the link back to your site with the health article of your chosen subject on it. In theory, each could actually drive traffic to the other, by adding a link on your site article back to the health video that you have posted.
So, as you can see from this brief overview, there are at least 3 unique ways to use health articles, videos and audios, to drive traffic to your site. It can be one of the easiest strategies to employ. For those with limited-time, there are many content providers that will produce articles, videos and audios on a Private Label basis. A word of caution here. Only use health articles, audios and videos, that are produced by licensed medical individuals. This insures that only factual and accurate information is being used by your sites.

If you want to have a good chance of launching a successful online business you will have to educate yourself about how internet marketing generates revenue from advertising. Only with effective advertising will you be able to make use of the amount of traffic coming into your website that you've worked so hard to build and be recognized as a valuable resource. Many people who have found cost effective ways to advertise their website have realized that it is quite possible to live entirely off of the profits made from ad-generated revenue.
The logical first step when planning an internet marketing advertising campaign is to have some kind of logo or name that makes you stand apart from the crowd. There are many free tools to do this, and it is certainly worth the time and effort to learn it yourself if you are inclined, but there are many experts who will do this for you professionally at a reasonable price. Ask around and you will surely find someone who'll make you an attractive catchy banner logo or design. The best banners conform to the KISS principle: they Keep It Short and Sweet. Short and relevant names stay in our memories much longer than long and wordy ones. Another thing to keep updated and at the forefront on your website is your company's profile that includes all services as well as a list of prices for your services and products. This saves so much time for your customers that many would order on the basis of that alone.
Once you have everything set up you can start the actual planning of your internet marketing advertising campaigns. You can do so by adding your web address (URL) to major search engine directories, using as many appropriate keywords as possible, to boost your ranking.
Another effective and increasingly popular method used for internet marketing advertising is to post content to get-paid-to-read websites. These sites offer very cheap advertising and some can literally reach hundreds of thousands of potential customers. It is good value for your money since most of these sites offer targeted advertising and you can be sure to reach only those niches you target, thus maximizing your return for the advertising dollar. In addition, you'll also increase the volume of traffic to your site dramatically. A little expense results in a big return in the long run.
Internet marketing advertising can make a big difference in your success online. It is really quite simple and all you have to do is follow some logical rules. There are so many places and methods of advertising that you'll surely find something to suit your budget. With consistency and care you will find yourself with a nest of golden eggs that will hatch for years to come.

A lot of online entrepreneurs and marketers have made article marketing as their primary marketing arm because it never fails to deliver quality and amazing results. This is the reason why there are so many articles posted in the internet today, making it a lot tougher for article marketers to earn their slice of online users' attention and traffic.
These 5 high impact secrets that can help you excel with article marketing so you can survive the growing competition online and set yourself and your articles apart from the rest:
1. Your articles must be informative. People online read articles simply because they would like to be informed. Thus, it is very important that you offer them content that contains the information they will find useful, relevant, and highly targeted to their needs and demands. These could be solutions to their pressing issues, answers to their burning questions, or information that can empower them to perform certain things on their own.
2. Consider your target market. Never write your articles without fully understanding the needs, demands, and profiles of your readers so you can make your content targeted and focused. You can do this by directly communicating with your target market through forums and discussion boards.
3. Bank on the quality of your articles. What they say is true, the quality of your content remains to be the most important element in article marketing. Strive to consistently offer your readers with articles that are content-rich, well-written, easy to understand, direct to the point, brief, and concise.
4. Consider the rules of article submissions sites. To increase the chances of your articles being approved and posted online, make sure that you follow all the rules set by the publishers. Some of them are the following: your articles must run at least 300 words, they must not contain too much keywords, hyperlinks on the article body, and blatant ads.
5. Create a compelling resource box. Your resource box must be able to help you convince your readers visit your website. It must contain powerful words that can evoke action or offer incentives to attract more people to click on your website's URL. Don't forget to include your name, your website's address, and a powerful call to action. You may also use anchor texts or post your most friendly-looking photo to make your resource box even more appealing.

Quality Score measures the relevance of a keyword to your advertisement group and to a user's search query
Do you know that Google assigns a dynamic metric called Quality Score to each of your keywords? Quality Score for Google and the search network is calculated using a number of factors, but more importantly, it measures the relevance of a keyword to your advertisement group and to a user's search query. In other words, the higher your keyword's Quality Score, the lower its minimum bid and the better its advertisement position.
The components of Quality Score differ based on whether it is calculating minimum bid or advertisement position:
PS: Quality Score is determined separately for the content network.
Google wants ecommerce advertisers to meet few baseline goals, in order to improve their landing pages and minimize bid prices on keywords:
The Google Adwords system determines and assesses an advertiser's landing pages many times. The system bot visits an advertiser's site not less than once a month, but in case of some changes made to the site, it may possibly visit more often to review those changes.
Recently, Google also unveiled another feature to inform advertisers of their keyword ratings through an additional Comment column in the AdWords account interface. You must enable this feature manually, since it is disabled by default.
Each keyword is rated with one of the three Quality Scores -- Great, Poor, or OK. If a keyword is rated as "Poor," it will be made "inactive for search" or substituted by a more specific keyword in order to scale down the bid prices. If you don't wish to substitute such keywords, try optimizing the associated advertising text and landing pages.
Additionally, AdWords advertisers are able to view the minimum bid prices for all of their keywords-both active and inactive. This way you can track your progress, by keeping an eye on the decline of bids.
Finally, Quality Score for Google secures that only the most relevant advertisements appear to the users on Google and the Google Network. The AdWords system works like a charm for everyone-advertisers, publishers, users, and Google too-when the displayed advertisements matches a user's needs as closely as possible. Relevant advertisements tend to earn more clicks and higher position, which in turn brings you definite success.

If you are just getting started with article marketing, or if you are still learning about article marketing, begin on the right foot. There are seven simple rules you must know (and apply) in your article marketing campaign.
Planning:-. Before you begin writing articles, sit down and set a few goals for yourself. Know what your purpose is for marketing with articles. List directories where you have to submit. Knowing where to submit your articles will save you time. Decide where you'll submit your articles. Create an account at each website and bookmark it.
Compile article ideas. You should never wait until you think you're ready to write a few articles to accumulate ideas. Jot down ideas you have every day. Keep a small notebook handy to write your ideas in. When you're ready to write articles, you'll have a small scale gold mine of ideas waiting for you.
Write quickly. Lots of writers struggle over writing a perfect copy the first time around. Forget about it. Write fast, letting your thoughts flow onto the page which is a good technique. Once you're finished with your draft you can edit as much as you like.
Confirm spelling, grammar and word count. Before you submit your article to any directory, be sure you run a spelling and grammar check on the document. If you tend to forget to do this, write yourself a reminder on a sticky note and place it on your monitor screen. Admit a well-written resource box. This is the most important, and often most overlooked, part of the article marketing process. Always include a resource box with your articles that creates a call of action to your readers.
Be uniform. You can't write a handful of articles and expect huge results. Article marketing requires persistence and consistency. Plan long-term and you'll start getting amazing results from your article marketing efforts.

Ever wondered how musicians you've never heard of or electronics you've never seen before seemed to be Amazon's hottest selling items? Well, this is due in part to the magic of Affiliate Marketing. Every day, people like you and me, are mass-marketing these products in chat rooms, on forums, in articles, and on search engines. They all do it for one purpose, one goal: commissions. Although affiliate marketing takes a bit of trial and error at first, it can be very lucrative and a great way for college students to make money.
How do you get started?
Well, first you need to find something that is currently popular; a product or a topic people are really into. Try MySpace, FaceBook, or your favorite forum to gauge what people need or have questions about. Check out current events in the media or in the sporting world. Find out what is hot on Ebay, Amazon, or even Google. Google Labs has a great tool which gives their top ten most searched items. Think the obvious: college campuses. These are great places to find out what people are into. Once you have a general idea of what people in the world want, you will have a better understanding of what to sell.
Next, you will need to find some good keywords that relate to your idea. Choosing the right keyword is essential, because it will determine the success of your product campaign. Keyword search tools, such as Google Keywords & Overture, are great utilities to give you a head start on finding the right keywords for your campaign. Make sure to look for long tail keywords (3-5 words in length) which are high in searches but low in competition.
How to find the right product?
Once you've found your topic and keyword, the next step is to locate a product. The key in finding successful products to advertise is to make sure it is something you believe will help solve a problem and is relevant to your chosen audience. If you are looking to help someone lose weight before a wedding, it is important not to try to sell money making products. Make sure the product connects with your chosen audience.
How to sign up for an affiliate program?
Most often, every product will have some type of affiliate program associated with it. Probably, the best place to find affiliate programs for physical products is Amazon. They have a great commission program. Amazon definitely caters to their affiliates and offers endless assistance to get you started. If you plan to sell an e-product, ClickBank is the best by far. Although, I've found a few bad apples on this site. Overall, their affiliate programs are unmatched - usually 50-75% commissions.
Article Marketing vs. Pay-Per-Click?
Once you have the topic, the keywords, the product, and the affiliate program, you will need to find the method. If you are starting out, article marketing is the way to go. Simply, create a relevant squidoo lens or landing site, and submit some articles relevant to your product. This affiliate marketing method can be slow and time-consuming, but is free and is definitely worth it, if you are starting out.
If you think you are a bit more advanced than the rest, you can try Pay-Per-Click advertising from sites such as Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, or MSN AdCenter. If you set up your campaigns correctly, you can achieve rewards much quicker. However, the risk is much greater and can be very costly if you don't know what you are doing.
Where to learn more about Affiliate Marketing?
Whether it be via article marketing or pay-per-click advertising, affiliate marketing can be a very rewarding experience, if done correctly. The best way to make any money in affiliate marketing is to find sites that will teach you the business behind it. Sites such as Wealthy Affiliate or Bum Marketing Methods are great resources, if you want to learns the in's and out's of the business. So, whether you are a college student or someone looking to make some extra cash, Affiliate Marketing is definitely a business to find more information on.
Roughly 75% of the business owners I speak with in any given town or city see little, if any, need for an online presence. They believe in doing business the way it's always been done, with local advertising, foot traffic, telephone book listing or advertisement, special promotions, and word-of-mouth marketing, and assume that local residents will find out about their business in these same ways.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with these promotional methods, but it does create a tunnel vision view of marketing in this day and age. In September 2004, a Kelsey Group-BizRate.com study found that more than 74% of respondents said they had conducted local searches and confirmed that 20% of all searches among respondents was local. Whether business owners acknowledge it or not, the Internet is here to stay, and using the Internet to find local businesses has now become mainstream, and will only continue to grow as today's children and teens, who have been online almost all of their lives, become adults.
I know that when I do a search for local businesses, I am often taken to one of the local city directories, where I am given the address and phone number of the business, and if I'm lucky, the website URL, if they have a website. Most days, I search out the website of a local business to "check them out" before deciding to do business with them.
One of my most frustrating times comes when I want to place a takeout order at a local restaurant and don't have a takeout menu handy. I'll go online to find the menu of the restaurant, and unfortunately, unless it's a local chain with multiple locations, I don't typically find what I'm seeking. That restaurant usually ends up losing my business to one in which I can scope out the menu online and call in a takeout order.
If you have a brick-and-mortar business, how much business are you losing because you don't have an online presence, or your website doesn't contain enough information to help someone decide to do business with you? Or, if you have a virtual company, what if no one can find you when they conduct a local search of businesses in your industry?
I do no marketing locally, as there is little demand for the type of services I provide in this area. However, I began to wonder if I were losing out on what little local business might exist for my virtual company, so I did some research to find what websites would help my company website show up in any local searches.
1. Local Portal Sites: Search Google, Yahoo, and MSN for your city name and see what comes up. Are there any sites on the list with which you can exchange links, buy advertising, purchase a membership, submit articles, etc.? If you live in a small city, as I do, you might also search for larger cities that are close to your location, or search for a regional name that your area might have. For example, I found more portal sites by using "Southeast Texas" as a search term, rather than an individual city name.
2. Search Engine Directories: Search Google Directory, http://directory.google.com for your city name and look for a category that ends with "Guides and Directories". When you click on that, you'll see the directories listed by importance, as determined by Google's Page Rank feature (you'll need to download Google's toolbar to see this info. The toolbar can be found at http://toolbar.google.com. The higher the rank (10 is high), the more traffic the site has. Or, you can manually search Google as follows: Regional Directories (by continent/country): http://www.google.com/Top/Regional/ By state in the US: http://www.google.com/Top/Regional/North_America/United_States/
You can also search Yahoo Directories, http://dir.yahoo.com. To suggest your business for inclusion, see Yahoo's guidelines here: http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/dir/suggest/index.html Yahoo's regional directory listing can be found here: http://dir.yahoo.com/Regional/ and listing for the US states is found here: http://dir.yahoo.com/Regional/U_S__States/
3. Yellow Pages Sites: There are a number of bigger city options here: YellowPages.com (SBC and BellSouth): http://www.yellowpages.com/guide/cityguides/ Super Pages (Verizon): http://www.superpages.com
4. Nationally-Based City Guides: The largest of these services, CitySearch, http://www.citysearch.com/, drives content to many other city guides. Other city guides include AOL CityGuide, http://www.digitalcity.com, Area Guides, http://www.areaguides.net, Online City Guide, www.onlinecityguide.com, and Associated Cities, http://www.associatedcities.com/
5. Newspaper-Based Local Sites: If you live in a larger urban area, your local newspaper may sponsor a site for your city, like Charlotte.com, sponsored by the Charlotte Observer) or Boston.com, sponsored by the Boston Globe.
6. Locally-Based City Guides: Again, in larger urban areas, your local chamber of commerce, convention and visitor's bureau, or a private business may operate a local portal for your city. Here in Southeast Texas, our locally based site is SoutheastTexas.com, owned by a private business. Others, like FortWorth.org, is sponsored by the Ft. Worth Convention and Visitor's Bureau.
7. Association Guides: Your membership to your local chamber of commerce, convention and visitor's bureau, professional association (by industry), general business groups (networking groups, men's or women's business associations, civic groups) may pay off if the association has an online membership directory where your listing might be found. Make sure that the listing includes both your contact info and a link to your website.
I've only scratched the surface of the local possibilities available for both virtual and brick-and-mortal companies. In doing the research for this article, I discovered there are thousands of businesses who aren't listed in these directories. Don't let yours be one of them. Get your business listed locally so you local customers can find you!

The value of article marketing is several fold in that it performs several different functions for the marketer simultaneously that all work together to achieve the common purposes of positioning and profitability.
The positioning is two-fold in that search engine listing positions can be influential in determining the amount of traffic received to the article and the corresponding sales page located on the other side of the link in the resource box just below the conclusion of the article and also the positioning as how the marketing article effectively pre-sells and qualifies the visitor to the website by placing content that is niche related to the website with the product and/or service directly in front of the viewer so that the viewer then may decide to become a targeted website visitor or simply leave the article with the new content retained.
Both of these positioning abilities of articles in marketing make article marketing a very viable strategy in extending market reach, web presence and even sales conversions in the long run.
A well written article such as this one or one that might be created by the world's best article marketing service, ArticlesInMyInbox, will be effective in search engine rankings as well as delivering fresh, original, unique and interesting content that keeps the reader captivated and longing to see just what awaits them at the web site prepared expressly and exclusively for their enjoyment and service to them.
Sometimes the most helpful advice can be found in that very resource box where an ebook containing steps on how to build a list or write an article would be. Yes, sometimes, it's just simple to see the straightforward effectiveness of caring for your customer.

Article marketing is a free but effective tool in generating qualified traffic for your website. It is one of the easiest and hassle-free product and website promotional tools that anyone can use even those who are just starting out in internet marketing. It doesn't require you to learn complicated programming languages and you don't have to be technically skilled. As long as you can write quality and useful articles and you have the time to distribute them online, you can definitely succeed in this field.
Here are the 4 new methods to impact your article marketing:
1. Write and submit more articles. The number of your quality inbound links largely depends on the number of your submissions. To boost the number of your backlinks, I highly suggest that you find ways on how you can multiply the number of your output. You can either hire ghostwriters or extend your writing hours so you can be more productive.
2. Bank on your content. This is the element that can either make or break your marketing strategies. Strive to give your readers content-rich, informative, well-written, and easy to understand articles. When you do, you are not only increasing the chances of your articles being picked up and republished, but you will also become more effective in convincing your readers to click on your resource box.
3. Check your resource box for broken links. To increase your conversation rate, make sure that all the hyperlinks on your resource box are working before you submit your articles to leading publishing sites.
4. Widely distribute your articles. Aside from posting them to publishing sites, you can also syndicate them using RSS feeds to better connect with your potential clients. In addition, you can use them as content for your ebooks or post them on your blog.

I like to read articles. I guess I am not the only one I say with a smile, since I guess that is the point of article directories. Sometimes I am very impressed by the depth and quality of an article. When I read one of these, I usually feel inspired to step up my game a little when writing my articles.
The problem with this is that as soon as I try to go a little deeper with one of my articles, they start to get longer and longer. This is bad for two reasons. Longer articles don't get read any more, if anything, they get read less. Second, I am getting less return on my investment of time.
Let me explain, if it takes me 30 to 45 min to write an article, that time is my investment for the number of visitors that I hope to inspire to come to my site. If I spend 1 hour or even more, and I get the same results, then that is not as good of an investment of my time.
You might say, well I like writing more in-depth articles and I don't care if I have to put a little more time into each one. The truth is you should like writing better and more in-depth content. This is how you will share your expertise with the world. The place for that content is on your website.
It is important to remember the role of each step of the process. And the role of the article is an appetizer. Not some cheap filler food, or a nibble, but a good healthy quality appetizer. But afterwards, you want the reader to be so impressed, that they want to go to your site and get the full meal.
So, how do you get the greatest return on your investment when an article does get a little long? Article sets. Turn your article into two or more articles. You can even turn them into parts if you need to add on a little more information. But, if you build multiple articles, you will get more visitors for the effort, and you will be giving your readers the size bites they have shown us they like to read.
What if Dan Iverson could show you how to write about any topic on earth and make money? If you can write well enough to write an email message you can make money writing for the Web with article marketing.
How much money?
That's up to you. There are hundreds of thousands of products you can sell with article marketing. It's possible to make much more than you make with your day job (even a highly paid one). It all depends on how how keen you are; basically on how much you write.
Get started making money: find something to sell
Your first step in article marketing is to find something to sell. Perhaps you're already an affiliate for a product or service.
(An "affiliate" is someone who promotes a product or service in order to get a commission on a sale.)
If you're not yet an affiliate, visit some of the popular affiliate networks, and sign up. Choose a product to sell, and you're good to go.
Here's a tip: promote products or services which you've used, and which you like. It's much easier to promote something when you have personal experience with it.
Write a couple of articles and post them online
As an article marketer, you promote your products by writing articles, and your primary tool is the "resource" or "bio box" at the end of the article.
So write a couple of articles to promote your affiliate product. The reason for writing a couple at one session is that once you're warmed up, it's as easy to write two articles as it is to write one - the second article will take you much less time than the first.
Now spend some time crafting a good resource box. This is your chance to be paid for your writing, so make your resource box effective. Ask yourself WHY someone would want to buy the product you're promoting, and emphasize that in your resource box.
You can post your articles to an article directory online, or you can set up a Web page at Squidoo, and post your articles there.
Article marketing is very easy, and it's profitable too. It's the ideal way to start your Web writing business.

Article marketing can be an extremely powerful tool for internet marketers. If you haven't started using articles as a means of getting traffic, I would definitely recommend doing so. However, if you plan on learning, you should make sure you avoid these common mistakes.
1. Articles Too Long.
Many inexperienced article marketers make one error, writing articles way too long! No one wants to read 3000 words of gibberish and then click on the link to go to your website and read more. If your articles are short an sweet, the reader will get the point, but still be up for checking your website out as well.
A good length for an article is about 500-600 words. It's not too short, or too long, and you can include all the necessary information. If you can cover your subject in fewer words, than that's even better, but most websites have a word minimum you have to reach.
2. Poor Author Bio Link
The whole functionality of article marketing relies on the Bio Box, which you include your link in. If you want people to click through to your website, you need to write something to captivate your audience. Don't simply write, "Check out my website here," include some information about what your sight will include, and how it will benefit the reader. For example, "Check out my awesome guitar tab website. If you keep using these you'll be beltin' out Clapton solos in no time!" This link would get a much high CTR than the first one.
3. Articles Not Searched Enough
Ideally, you'd like your article to get searched around 30 times a day. Those article keywords are rare, but that is the standard you should try to go by. It is not essential, but if you are affiliate marketing or simply promoting your website, you will see more traffic way faster.
Don't feel bad if you can't find highly searched keywords in your niche, just write more articles that get searched less. You will eventually start seeing steady traffic flow come in.
Article Marketing is used by many as the foundation for their website marketing campaigns. If you are not utilizing this technique, you are losing tons of visitors. If you want to learn how to master this traffic building technique, and many others, check out Traffic Tactix for a free e-course on creating high-traffic websites.
Did you know you can make a massive income online, just by writing articles? "Article marketing", which is basically writing articles which act as advertising, is popular online. If you can write articles, you're golden.
So let's look at five tips which will help you to turn your skill at writing articles into cash.
1. Write articles to promote affiliate products
One of the easiest ways to make money with your articles is to use them to promote affiliate products. When you're promoting such products, you make a commission from every sale which was made via your link.
When you're writing to make an affiliate sale, don't write a "sales" article - you're not trying to sell directly from the article. Write an informative article, or a review.
The amount of money you make writing articles for affiliate products depends on the number of (good) articles you can write each day.
2. Offer an article writing service
We all see thousands of advertisements a day. They're everywhere we look. We're force-fed advertising online, on TV, and on radio. This makes us deaf and blind to advertising.
However, articles cut through the noise. Articles are useful, so we're not blind to them: this makes article marketing a perfect solution for clever marketers to advertise their wares.
Since articles do work well, many marketers are looking for people to write articles for them.
If you offer an article writing service, you will soon have more buyers than you can handle.
All you need to set up your service is a small Web site. Promote your site using... you guessed it, article marketing.
3. Create an article writing schedule
This is all well and good - you can make money writing articles. However, you need to be able to get the articles written in a timely manner. This means scheduling your article writing, and getting them written.
The more you write, the more income you can make, so schedule your article writing each day.
4. Turn your articles into reports and ebooks
Once you get into the swing of article writing, your articles will mount up. You've got hundreds (and over time, thousands) of articles on your hard drive. Don't let them languish there. Use them.
A tip: if you write articles for others and get paid, the copyright passes to them, because your articles are "work done for hire". You can't repurpose those article - don't reuse them, because you no longer have the right to do that.
However, you can certainly repurpose any articles you've written for yourself: you retain the copyright, and you can turn your articles into reports and ebooks to either give away, use as a promotion, or to sell.
5. Create a membership site from your articles
Enthusiasts love getting fresh, timely information on their passion. So once you've written a batch of articles on a topic which has eager readers, consider creating a membership site for them. As you write new articles on the topic, post them to the membership site.
What topics make good membership sites? Just about any topic which has magazines which service those enthusiasts. Consider topics like knitting, golf, home maintenance and repair, beauty tips - the possibilities are endless.
So there you have five tips which will help you to make a great income from article marketing. Start writing today.

Millions of webmasters are writing and submitting articles on a regular basis to promote their websites, making the competition in getting online users' attention stiffer than ever. If you would like to get ahead of the pack and make your articles stand out from the rest, you should take these 5 high powered ways to grow your article marketing campaign:
1. Use catchy, intriguing titles. The secret in getting impressive click through rate is giving your articles great titles that will pique the curiosity of online users. This is an essential element where you should effectively communicate to your potential audience the benefits they can get once they open and read your articles. Make them feel that there is valuable in store for them so they won't be able to resist your articles and read them.
2. Your articles must be well-written. To give your potential clients great reading experience, make sure that your articles flow well and free from grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
3. Your articles must be search-engine friendly. Knowing how and where to place your keywords can greatly help your articles fare well on searches.
4. Your articles must pass the standards set by various publishers. If you want your articles to be posted online, they must conform to the rules set by different article submission sites. Some of the general guidelines are the following: Your articles must be informative, must run at least 300 words, and must follow appropriate keyword density. In addition, your articles must be free from sales pitches or blatant advertisements and inappropriate content like terrorism or gambling.
5. Create a powerful resource box. Your resource box is what will ultimately bring readers to your website. Make it powerful, convincing, and enticing so you can effectively move your readers to click your website's URL.

Today's Internet marketing environment is very competitive. Submitting articles is one way to help you archive an edge. This method should be viewed as a long-term method to grow you business.
The importance of submitting articles on a regular bases should not be overlooked if you want to achieve long term success with obtaining traffic to you web site or blog.
It has been said over and over again that getting traffic is the lifeblood of your online marketing success. I'm sure you have heard that about as often as you have heard that "the money is in the list". Well both are true. You must have a list and you must have traffic.
1. Submitting Articles Increases Your Search Engine Ranking
In this article we are looking at submitting articles as one way to accomplishing a higher search engine ranking. Unlike many of the methods, submitting articles does not cost you anything except time and effort.
Because of this writing and submitting articles is a very effective and non-cost way to promote your web site, blob, and your affiliate programs. Make your article search engine friendly. This means optimizing it with keywords and meta tags. The more top-ranked keywords you can use the better.
Next you need to upload the article to your web site or post it onto your blog. Then the search engines will spider your page an eventually you will obtain an increase in search engine rankings. This strategy works because the search engines like content that has been keyword optimized.
2. Submitting Articles Gives You The Potential Of Reaching More People
The reason for this is that by submitting articles, others will sometimes choose to use your article in their promotion efforts. When they do, the search engines will find those articles and if you have a link back to your site, you will get more exposure for your web site or blog.
Submitting articles in this case means submitting them to other sites. The best way to do this is to submit them to ezine directories. You are using the popularity of the ezine directories to get your article out onto the Internet.
When others find your content to be relevant to their efforts, they will publish your article on their web site or blog. Your link back to your web site or blog in your resource box will improve your link popularity. This is important to your quest for a higher search engine ranking. You also get totally free advertising by this strategy as well.
3. Submitting Articles Helps You Establish Reciprocal Links
Submitting articles decreases the necessity for you to seek out other web sites that would be willing to establish reciprocal links with you. Much of the work is done for you when someone uses your article on his or her web site or blog.
You really want to establish as many link partners as you possibly can. Search engines use link popularity in determining the search engine ranking for your site.
4. Submitting Articles helps You Establish Credibility And Reputation
Here's the key - write articles that have original and relevant content.
When your readers see that you are doing this you will create a good impression on them and increase the potential for them to be a future customer. It also encourages more of your visitors to re-visit your web site or blog.
Now your subject does not have to be original - but you're content should be. For example the topic of submitting articles has been around for years and it will stay around for years - because it works.
But if your content is yours you will be seen as an expert and your credibility will increase and you will gain customer approval.
In addition, some readers will write comments about your article. When you receive these and they are favorable, you can use them as testimonies on your web site or blog. These testimonies can become promotional material and gain you more approval and exposure. The trade off is that they also provide exposure for the one that wrote the testimony.
Use your negative feedback to make improvements to your efforts and publish that to increase your exposure even more. Turning your negative feedback into a positive will help in your efforts to create a good impression and possibly increase your sales.
As I stated at the beginning, this is a very competitive market. However, by submitting articles with good content that is relate to your web site or blog your efforts in promoting affiliate programs, your product and your business will be improved.

We know that many students write research papers and turn them in for their upper division classes. Just because they have written a research paper on a very limited niche in a scientific domain does not mean they know what they're talking about. Of course there must be peer reviews and then they need to get them published. In online article writing often writers or authors will discuss a certain subject as if they are an expert or authority on the topic.
Many people will look at a student of a certain subject and read what they are writing and assume that the student is expert. Of course a student of a certain subject cannot be an expert because they have limited time in the domain and they are a student not an authority. But how can the reader know the difference if the article is put onto the Internet online?
Another huge problem is many experts wish to persuade the reader into believing a certain point of view and rather than stating this or admitting that their article is an opinion, they will state the information as fact. If they pretend to be an expert in their field they can pull a fast one on the reader, because the reader believes that they know what they're talking about.
Perhaps you can see the problematic situations which arise when readers are duped into thinking that they are reading information from an expert or that the information they are reading is legitimate, when actuality it is nothing more than opinion. A student on a subject matter who is busy reviewing information makes an excellent online article writer because all the information is fresh in their head to draw upon as they are writing.
Nevertheless, what they're doing is regurgitating information rather than giving you an expert viewpoint and this is something the reader should consider and think about before accepting this information into their brain as fact.

We learned that you need to brainstorm to find a profitable market if you want to make a lot of money with Internet marketing. This is a crucial step, so don't try to escape. I've made this mistake when I first started and I can tell you that I lost a lot of money as a result.
Then, we learned that you need to know exactly what your market want, and finally, you need to find competitors already spending money to advertise in this market.
Now, let's go more in depth and see where you can find them. We are going to analyze the competition.
4. Analyze your competition
It's very easy to find out what your competitors are doing in your market. There are plenty of tools that allow you to find out, but for the purpose of this article, we will use Google.
You can use any other search engine like Yahoo or msn by the way.
You need to look at the paid search results, on the right side of the screen. Basically, you are going to find out how they are making money, and adjust your strategy on what they are already doing.
You need to find your unique selling proposition. To make a lot of money, you need to be different than others. Don't try to be another "me too" in this market.
5. Create a landing page
Now that you found that your product is popular and that people are already making money in the niche, it's your turn. You need to collect a list of subscribers.
Where is the product?
In fact, you don't have a product yet. You are going to create it soon.

Becoming a fraudulent online article marketer is fairly easy, first pick a fake name. Second, build some websites in industries you know nothing about or even blogs if you want. Next, put AdSense ads on them - now put up some commentary that is "key word" rich. Now for the biggest secret of all; use deceptive advertising by writing online articles hyping and "buzz marketing" and write hundreds of articles, and post them online at free-submission sites, with by-lines to your various websites.
Another great trick is to "Steal" content from such online article websites and post these onto your blogs or websites, which have AdSense ads. Trust me Google does not care, as they make money too. The legitimate online article writers will never know, especially if you delete their name, add another name or kill their by-line links.
One more tip, if you are caught make sure you sign up for the Blog or website using false information so no one can catch you. If they do, simply say; "Oh, I am so sorry" then ignore them, hopefully they will go away. If they keep pestering you, delete those websites or stop using that one author's articles and go find some other ones, as you can keep that going on for years.
Why am I explaining how to be dishonest, cheat, lie, and be fraudulent on the Internet?
Well, because I am sick of it and completely disgusted that this is going on. I am tired of having my content stolen, I am tired of fraudulent hype, criminal buzz marketing activity, the fact that no one cares and that complete disregard of ethics by the human race. Further, I am tired of being a zombie slayer, there are just to many of you out there.

Details have been given about all the various SEO techniques such as writing good original keyword specific press releases, articles, forum posts and blog posts, but we still need to get to the real core meaning of what search engine optimisation is and what it can do for business and how it can affect your business if you do not know anything about it. So let us discuss what it is and also what it is not.
What is SEO? SEO is an art. This means that you need to think at all times of all different kinds of keywords and keyword phrases to satisfy the needs of the search engine spiders. You need to think like a search engine spider. You need to learn how to do this in order to get your websites listed on the first page of the Google search engine. As an example, let us assume that you are promoting a website about leads. The term leads is a billion dollar industry.
If you do intensive research you will find the same result. Companies or people that are on the first page of the Google search engine for the keyword term 'leads' are in it for the money. There is no doubt about that. The company holding the number one position has been holding the 'leads' top spot ranking for a long time. If you start an SEO campaign promoting your 'leads' website and eventually also get listed on the first page of Google, the effort of consistently posting content, titles and original content about the keyword 'leads' will land you in the 'leads' search category of around two hundred million search results.
How do you get the search term 'leads' to the first page of Google? It is not a great secret. It is not a mystery. It is an art to get it here. You will have to work at this art to perfect it as much as possible and to be successful using it. This is not something that will just pop up automatically without you putting effort into it to make sure that it works.
