I submitted forty articles to four directories and got enrolled in this wonderful coaching program. I didn't really know the exact reason why I submitted those articles, but I did it anyway.
After I got accepted, the coach told us to write articles and distribute to various directories (again). We had to find the websites ourselves (we were 70 at the beginning). I typed article directories and other keywords in Google to find those.
He told us that we needed to add a resource box at the end of the articles with an anchor link to his website because it was one of the best form of traffic on the web. After all, the web is just content and links.
Almost immediately after we submitted those articles (it became a weekly task after this), we were taught to create an opt-in box to capture our visitors emails and first name.
What is an opt-in box?
It is a form that you can get from your autoresponder software and add to your website to build your list of subscribers. You need to be aware that almost %90 of the visitors to your website are not going to buy from you. For this reason, you need to quickly qualify them to find out if they will do business with you in the future.
Think about it, if they don't trust you enough to give you their email and first name, they are not going to give you their credit card number... And to run your business, you need to be in profits. Once a surfer becomes a lead (he subscribed to your autoresponder message), you need to build a relationship with him. Now it will be easy for you because you already wrote a couple of quality articles.
All you need to do is to add those articles into your autoresponder series and your subscribers will receive them automatically.
Next, we will discover how to monetize these articles.

As you might already know, article marketing is the best free promotional and traffic-generating tool in the internet today. It can augment your website's traffic while pulling up your search engine ranking. But, are there some ways on how you can improve you marketing efforts to maximize the benefits that you can get from using this tool?
Here are the 4 intriguing methods to supercharge your article marketing:
1. Multiply the number of your articles. As each submission grants you at least one quality inbound link, the number of your submissions plays crucial role in the success of your article marketing campaign. Experts agree that you have to submit at least 5 articles per day to further improve your website traffic and strengthen your online presence.
2. Sell your products. Although most publishers will not allow you to include blatant advertisements on your content, you can still pitch in your products on your articles - but in a subtle way. Talk about the problems that are being faced by your target market and offer your products as a solution. By doing so, you will be able to create a need for your product and properly build it up to secure more sales leads.
3. Be particular with the quality of your articles. This is the most important element that will either make or break your marketing efforts. You would want other online users to read, pick up, and republish your articles so you can create more inbound links for your website and increase your website's traffic in the process. Thus, it is important that your articles are well-written, informative, useful, and content-rich.
4. Use keywords and popular search terms on your chosen niche. This is to make your articles highly searchable online and make it easier for you to connect to your target market.

Press releases have some unique characteristics that can contribute to an increase in search engine positioning for your site. They are similar in many ways to pages that use search engine copywriting techniques. They have a narrow focus, include copy that deals with one specific topic, incorporate the use of key phrases and use keyword-rich headlines. Usually, people either do not like or do not have the time to read poorly written content. Therefore, when you are writing an optimised press release, it is essential that you write with concise language, correct grammar and credibility. Besides increasing readership, you will make the search engines very happy, which is exactly what you are looking for!
Press releases incorporate each of the elements used with good search engine copywriting, which make them the perfect addition to your site. Because search engine spiders follow links, you will have to open a door from your home page to the section of your site that houses the press releases so your web pages displaying the releases will be picked by the Search Engines.
As well as adding Press releases to your site, you should consider posting them to specific press releases websites.
Newsworthy press releases that are optimised with keyword-rich content are invaluable to your business. If properly optimised, press releases add the potential for increased traffic to your site from clients searching for your product and business, provide improved rankings overall and in News search engines, and increase your chances of additional press. They may even enhance backlinks (also called inbound links) to you website. Press releases also increase your brand awareness.
Another use of press releases is linked with inbound links and link building. When you submit your press releases to those websites, think of leaving your URL somewhere and even better, add some anchor text links in your press release on target keywords that would link back to your site, thus helping your site to achieve better positions and get more traffic.

Over 80 percent of Internet users use Google to find products and services on the world wide web. It stands to reason that if you want to generate more qualified sales leads you need to rank on the first or second page within the search engines results pages on Google.
As Google gets more and more sophisticated with each algorithm update, search engine optimisation methods have to change to keep getting good results.
Here is a list of ten important tactics that you can use to improve your Google rankings.
Use the right keyword phrase The most important factor in getting quality web traffic is to optimize your web pages for the correct keyword phrase. Getting the most sales is often a balance between search volume for key words and level of competition. Use the Overture keyword tool and Google Adwords tool to research and identify your best keyword phrases. Look for keyword phrases that have high search volume, but low competition. It also pays to see what key words your successful competitors are optimising for.
Put your key word phrase in your title tag Forget about putting your company name in the title tag (unless it is a valuable part of the key words), it's a waste of words and will not help you rank in the search engines. The first three of four words in your title tag should be the key word phrase you are trying to optimize for. Try to limit your total character count to 60 characters.
Write a compelling description tag Title tags are for search engines, description tags are for people. Spend time researching and writing a description tag that compels the reader to click on your listing. Come up with a great offer, use action words. Use shock and awe. Use anything that will get them to click.
Use H1 tags An often neglected search engine optimisation technique is to put your keyword phrase in H1 tags on your page. This tells Google that the following text is about your keyword phrase. Google weights H1 tags nearly as highly as title tags. This tip alone can drastically improve your Google. Similarly, the use of bold and strong html tags can emphasize a key word phrase within the paragraph text where it may not be appropriate to use H1 or H2 tags.
Get the right keyword ratio Aim for a keyword density of around 3-5% of the page contents. Try to work your key word phrase into the page so that it reads naturally. This may take some research and analysis of successful web sites. Remember to use headings and sub-headings that include your key words.
Use alt tags and description tags on images Key words used image file names, alt tags and description tags add to the key word density of any web page. They doesn't make a huge difference, but every little bit helps. In some product classes a Google image search may lead web surfers to your web site.
Get quality one-way incoming links through article marketing and directory submissions As far as Google is concerned; link exchanges are just about dead. They can help to get your web site spidered and indexed more quickly, but these days they add very little in terms of Google search engine rankings unless the link is on a trusted site and that site has excellent page rank. Wikipedia and DMOZ are examples of such trusted sites.
A more effective approach is to write interesting and informative articles and submit them to article directories. Make sure that you use the author bio/resource box to maximum advantage by using your key word phrase in the link anchor text, AND, by pointing the anchor text to the correct page. Your home page may not be the best choice of pages for your selected key phrase. This will also ensure that more pages than just your home page gets indexed.
Use Social book marking If you have something newsworthy, humorous, quirky, unique or shocking to say, submit a link to your web page to sites like digg.com or redit.com. These up and coming web 2.0 power houses can create a buzz overnight driving thousands of interested visitors to your web site.
Note, just because you build it doesn't mean they will come. If it's boring link it will quickly get buried by newer and more interesting stories. But what the hell, it's free to submit links to these sites and you never know your luck.
Record a podcast Google loves podcasts ... it just loves them. Get yourself a decent microphone and some podcasting software like Audacity and go for it. Once you have an interesting and tightly edited podcast, put it on your web site and submit it to all the major podcasting directories like iTunes and Podomatic.
Sign up for Google Adwords Although Google will deny it, anecdotal evidence suggests that Goggle favors Adwords customers over non-Adwords customers. This is true for new web sites that often take months to get spidered and indexed by Google. I have seen brand new sites get spidered, indexed and listed in the search engine results pages in as little as a week.
It doesn't have to cost a lot either. You can set up a low budget campaign of 50 cents to one dollar a day and still get favorable treatment.
John Hacking is Marketing Manager for a Brisbane web site design company and Product Manager for a Brisbane search engine optimization firm.
There used to be a time when there was really no such thing as the best SEO software. In early search engine days you simply would manually submit your site to each engine and that was pretty much it.
During the dot com boom days came along these "SEO Experts" that charged people an arm and a leg to "optimize" their sites in order to get listed high in the search results. This was largely attributed to our new monster friend Google who completely changed the way search engines work and how we work with them. The great thing about the changes that Google has put in place is they have really made efforts to level the playing field for the little guy to have as much of a chance as huge companies have to get listed high.
As time has gone by and many Internet experts started to break down and examine the search engine methods for ranking and listing sites some of the best SEO software tools started arriving on the market. This again allows the little guy an affordable option to expensive "SEO experts" and begin to perform search engine optimization themselves. Much of this revolves around keyword analysis and density checking to ensure we are in compliance with the rules of the major search engines.
Some of the newer versions of the best SEO software now on the market have added very slick tools that can analyze your potential competitors and how they are achieving their rankings. They have also added features to help enhance back linking efforts and really place the whole optimizing process on an auto pilot mode that will continually monitor your sites pages down to the individual page and report back on pretty much every aspect of your sites performance.
I believe the biggest advantage of these new software packages is the small online business owner now has tools available that only require a single purchase and can be used for as many websites as they want to develop.

A high ranking in the search engine is very important to any webmaster on the net. It is without doubt the best place to have a searcher on the internet find your website. If you wish to have swarms of free traffic coming to your website on an ongoing basis, then you need to make sure that your keywords are placed in the top 1-5 positions when a search uses the keywords you use to optimize your web pages. So how do we get high rankings in the search engines?
First off, you need to make sure that you have your web pages fully optimized for the search engines so that they understand exactly what your website is all about! The search engines need to know what your site is about in order to display your pages to the searchers. How do they do this? They can identify what your web pages are about when they look at the title tag, the header tags, bold tags and the keyword density within the text content. Basically, if you are targeting a keyword like "Salmon fishing" then you will want to include it in the title tag, header tags and throughout the content both at the top and at the bottom.
You then need to acquire back links for your web pages. In case you are unfamiliar with the term back links. A back link is when a website/web page has a link in the form of an anchor text of your url pointing to your web page. This in the eyes of the search engines is classed as a vote to your web page. The more votes you get from other web pages, the higher you will climb in the search engines. However, it is advised that you try and get web pages that have a high page rank with a your link pointing back to your web page or site.
Not every website can give you a quality vote. If you get a vote from a website that has a high page rank it will be more beneficial to you. Just be careful of websites that can actually damage your ability to rank high. Most of the time, these sites are spammy and linking to them will harm your rankings!
Following these guidelines you should be well able to boast your keyword optimized pages in the search engines. It important to make sure you are on top of the game and your competitors.

What would you say is the number one reason a blogsite fails? The answer to that question is probably lack of fresh content. You see if a person has the idea that they want to have multiple blogs with the thought of making big money it becomes quite an effort to produce fresh content regularly. But producing fresh content is imperative in your website marketing strategies.
It seems difficult and even kind of frightening at first to produce fresh content to your blog on a regular basis. But like I've said in the past, "it should really not be that big an issue". The most important part of proven website marketing strategies, especially where blogs are concerned, is providing your readers or visitors with informative, interesting, and even entertaining information. This should be your primary concern.
Producing enlightening and interesting information on your blog will not only help to make your blog popular, but will also attract the search engine spiders. Obviously it is the business of search engines to provide answers to search queries.
Taken one step further, to make it even more simple, if the search engine spiders see your web pages as providing more relative information, then your web pages will be displayed to provide the answers to keyword searches. Which means relative, interesting, informative, and even entertaining CONTENT is still KING of website marketing strategies, period.
Why should producing fresh content for your blog or website be such a struggle? You know your niche, right? You know the questions that people are searching for answers to in your niche, right? If you don't know then you had better find out! You better start providing the answers to the questions your visitors are asking for when they do a search using the keywords your blog is targeting.
The Captain of my ship made me realize something last night while we were navigating through the St. Mary's River. He said; "At least you have your business to keep you occupied in your off time". He is so right, isn't he? I can write my content in my chosen niche anytime I feel like it. And, the content I write is going to make my blogs successful without much more effort than that if I've chosen my niche carefully and done my keyword research well. Again, in a nutshell, Content is King of website marketing strategies!

Establishing and/or increasing your visible Internet presence is easier than most SEO experts would want you to believe. Increasing hit traffic to your site and ranking higher in Google also does not have to be a costly endeavor. You also don't need to be a technical wiz-kid to realize the results you're looking to achieve.
I recently read a blog post by Nazir Daud where he discussed how he slashed his Google Adwords cost by 80% in 3 months by taking advantage of some very simply principles.
David implemented the same simply principles that I've discussed in previous Internet presence articles.
In his blog post David states that he published lots of keyword rich content, containing links back to his homepage, on a highly trafficed professional networking site that has a lot of constantly changing blog content. He also leveraged the ability to post in the site's "marketplace".
As a result, Google indexes all of the content, and links back to his homepage, and drives the ranking of his homepage consistently higher by creating keyword associations with those links.
Note, this is not about simply creating and publishing content anywhere on the Internet.
The key is publishing content on a highly trafficed professional networking site that has a lot of constantly changing blog content. Why? Because Google loves these sites. Content on sites like this consistently rank higher than other content in Google.
More importantly, links to other sites are also indexed by Google, and as a result of being found on a highly trafficed professional networking site that has a lot of constantly changing blog content, the content behind those links are also driven higher in ranking.
After only 3 months of effort in a highly competitive space, Nazir goes on to explain that 80% of his traffic is free and his home page has a Google ranking of 4.
You can read in detail about how to implement these simple principles in my Internet Presence: Case Study - Recipe for Success. This case study discusses how I drove the home page of Search Advantage to the first page of Google in 30 days against the keyword phrase: Internet Presence
The great thing about all of this is you don't have to be a technologist or an SEO expert to implement any of it. Anyone can build a visible Internet presence. These principles are extremely powerful way to drive any content higher in search engine ranking against associated keyword phrases. This applies not only to keyword phrases associated with your business offerings, but it also applies to the very special keyword phrase that is your name.
What's even better is that the cost associated with this is simply the price of membership on a highly trafficed professional networking site that has a lot of constantly changing blog content. Compared to the costs associated with Google Adwords, this is about as close to free as you can get.
Whether you are simply trying to create more visible to for your business, or you are trying to create more visibility for yourself as a business professional, there isn't a business or business professional on the planet that wouldn't benefit from a more visible Internet presence.

With the rise in competition in the field of business, there has been a substantial growth in the marketing domain. Thanks to the use of the so called strategic article marketing tactics business firms can now see their business grow exponentially. Erroneous would it be if we state that the article marketing service is an entirely new concept as article marketing traces it roots back to the era of print media. Defining the term article marketing in layman language would not be a tough task. The term article marketing in its simplest form is actually a marketing strategy wherein a business firm advertises its services or products through articles which reflect the business firm in the best possible way.
If article marketing had not been in practice, it would have been a little tedious for us to gauge a business firm to its core. There is no shortage of article marketing websites which throw light on the services and products of a company in a rather interesting way, thanks to the internet and search engines like Google. Moreover, through an article, a particular organization reaches more number of people in less time. Print Media ( newspapers, magazines etc) is one of the many ways through which strategic marketing of an article can be made possible.
Online magazines, which are a part of internet marketing, also serve as powerful tools for marketing articles. Through article marketing, a small business can reach millions of people and thus popularize itself. An original article discusses or merely states the services provided by an organization along with providing the contact details of the organization. Advertising article marketing is the new face of article marketing. So is the case with niche article marketing, which has proved to be the magic-pill for a number of business organizations. The basic reason as why the concept of niche article marketing has gained popularity is the existence of the powerful consumer force which commands enough attention, thus making the business firms devise new strategies and marketing tactics every now and then to satisfy their demand.

Have you ever stopped and really thought about who your readers are? The more directly you write to the person who is reading your article, the more impact what you write is going to have on her. Let's assume for a moment, that you have thought about whom she is, have you thought about what is most important to her?
I see it again and again, article after article turns into a three to five hundred word ad on your topic of choice. So, who are you writing this article for again? There is one word that you should be thinking about every time you write an article. That word is, *PREsell.* If you don't know what that is, then you will find this information invaluable.
One of the most important considerations for every human being on earth before they buy something from another person is can they trust that person. Learning to establish that trust can be the difference between your voice blending into the noise and chatter of daily life, or you being a trusted advisor in your area of expertise. Understanding this is to understand PREsell.
When writing articles, PREselling is when you give something of value to a person before you try to sell them anything. Usually, what you give them is information on a topic that they are interested in. As an expert author, you share with them your value as a resource on a topic. You give them information that they either did not know, or that makes it clear to them that what you do know is beyond a conversational understanding, you have knowledge and expertise that they are looking for.
Why would you do this? You do this not to provide all the answers to their questions, but to help them get some of the answers that they are looking for, and to provide them a resource for getting fuller, more in-depth information. This is a win win. They are getting a chance to test drive your information and see if it meets their particular needs and interests, and you have a free platform (article directories) in which to show your expertise and build your credibility as well as find new prospects.
Let's say you are going to walk buy 100 people that are all trying to sell you something. As you walk buy each person they have 3 seconds to get your attention. So they say things like, look at me, buy from me, I have what you've been looking for, this one will make you sexy. Now they say these things in high voices, low voices, funny voices, and sad voices. The more of them you walk by, the more they all sound the same.
Now, when you walk by me I ask a question, *Did you know that an understanding of key words can be the foundation for all successful internet marketing?* Ask yourself, if you are interested in Internet marketing, who are you going to stop and talk to? Your article gives you a chance to put a specific message out there so that you find the people looking for the information, and just as importantly, they find you.

How are you testing and optimizing your web channel?
Are you optimizing at a on-going effort?
Or are you even testing and optimizing at all?
Testing and optimizing your web channel or web site should never be a one-time process or effort, instead it should be a continuous process. Keep up the good work if you're testing and optimizing your web on an on-going effort. If you're don't know where or how to start, starting from this post and forthcoming posts, I'll be sharing some of my humble optimization hacks in helping you optimize your website.
Optimization #01: Call to action button
* What is the message on your call to action button?
1. Are your visitors or audience even clicking it at all?
2. Even if they are, do they ultimately convert into dollars and cents?
3. How are you enticing your visitors towards the desired outcome?
* What does the call to action button meant to them:
1. Why should we(visitors) click on it?
2. What's IN for us(visitors)?
How to optimize it?
Instead of having those overused messages or words like "Click here", "Find out more", "Click here to read" or "Read more here".
* Build your call to action button that persuades them in taking action, which contains the "Why should we click on it" and the "What's IN for us" instead of those overused words which don't convert. Ultimately, you will never know which message or copy on the call to action button works or doesn't, until you test it out.
* Take action now!
Everyday, thousands upon thousands of people flock to the Internet trying to claim a share of fortune online. Rumors say anyone can make million easily online while working from the beach or any favorite vacation places.
Thanks to the hype built by the so called "guru" in the make money industry, people actually believe this albeit being scammed repeatedly. Deep down in our heart, we want to believe there is a key to really achieve all the success without any noticeable effort.
Old timers who have been here for a while will finally realize there is no shortcut to riches. Business is business and when it comes to online business, it is just another business. Just that the medium is now Internet instead of newspaper, TV, radio, etc.
On the other hand, everyone has heard about the saying that "the money is in the list." What does it mean? By list, it certainly doesn't refer to any list such as in phone book. List is more about names and contact information that are interested in particular topic.
It may sound like building relationship with prospective customers in the list is common sense. After all, we are more likely to buy from someone who know and trust rather than a random sales person we meet on the street. It's better if we know for sure that the people who recommend us to buy something really knows our problems and have established credibility up front.
Andrew Fox, in his new coaching program called Affiliate X Factor, reveals exactly the process anyone can take to build their own list in any niche. He also tells how you could build credibility immediately in the welcome email. The result? Your subscribers already like you and trust that you know something of value that they don't.
The beauty of owning a list is that you can repeatedly keep in touch with the subscribers anytime you want. This doesn't mean you can send promotions upon promotions with no valuable content. Contrarily, the promotion is complementary to the content and when you position it this way, the subscribers will see the promotions as recommendations instead of hard selling.
Email marketing will never be the same again. When other marketers complain the degrading response they get from using email as a marketing tool, Andrew finds techniques to increase the response.

Make sure that the title of your press releases, articles, forum posts and blog posts are keyword rich and specifically focussed on the category you want your website to land on in the Google search engine. Your website title is extremely important. The more keyword specific that you are in the title and content of all your posts, the more accurate you will be with your website landing in the appropriate search categories. Be aware of the minimum and maximum number of words required in all your posts by the respective submission companies you subscribe to.
If you want your search engine optimisation website marketing campaign to succeed then you need to apply all the techniques detailed here previously and in the future. How many people will take the time to absorb and apply the knowledge gained from these techniques? Will people actually study these techniques and go and do the work?
Who has the perseverance to write blog posts, forum posts, articles and press releases, all search engine optimised with unique original keyword rich content and titles, day after day, month after month, year in and year out? Unfortunately it will only be about half a percent of the readers. There is no instant process in effective successful search engine optimisation. There is no software package that will do it for you.
You have to do it. It is continuous work that will get you your first page rankings on the Google search engine. No matter what fantastic SEO program you purchased or automated submission service that you use, those so called "quick" solutions will not get you top positions on Google. There are no shortcuts to effective and successful SEO at all. You have to do all the work yourself.

I once read a remark that if a SEO company can not top (at least) for the keyword "SEO" in Google, it can not be a worthy company.
I know a lot of people might come up with the same logic while searching for the best SEO Company for his site. But let's take a look at the scenario from some different angles.
Why do you target some keywords in your website? The answer is obviously to get targeted visitors who are looking for some service - those who are my potential customers.
But does the word SEO have the potential to bring me genuine customers? For example if my site ranks 1st on Google for 'SEO Services' and 'SEO', which one do you think will get me desired visitors who are willing to buy a service? The answer is obviously SEO Services. And at the same time the competition for SEO Services is comparatively less (but tough) then SEO.
Most of the good SEO companies get clients on recommendations. For example, if I like XYZ Company's job, I will recommend it for my friend's site. And thus XYZ get more clients - simple.
Another big reason is that a lot of SEO companies do not want their name to be associated with the term SEO to search engines.
But if some SEO companies say that due to heavy work pressure that could not concentrate on the ranking of their website - do not believe them or do not work with them either. If they can not find time to work for their mother site, how much time can you expect for your own site?
Now, the problem is somewhere else - every one claims them to be the best SEO Company. And unless I get recommendation from some reliable sources, it is tough to decide their credibility.
So how to find the best SEO company?
To start with it is better to go for local SEO companies (for example search for Florida or Ft Lauderdale SEO and website marketing in search engines if you are from that region). If you are new to internet marketing, this is the best option to start as they are comparatively cheap and you may get someone in your extended friend's community who can give you some feedback about them. At least you can reach them physically at any point of time.
If some companies say that they will help you guaranteed top ranking in Google or Yahoo for a very competitive keyword like SEO Services and they will do it within one month - do not work with them. Getting a good search engine rank is a long term process and no one can guarantee it. And even if they do it with some black hat SEO techniques, it may harm your business in the long run and this sort of ranking is normally not sustainable for a long period.
Ask for their track record - if they have done some good work they will be happy to show you a glimpse. Thus, you can have a good understanding of their company.
Take a look at their website to find out if it is clear or not. Take a look at their page rank and do a search on Google to find out what people are saying about them.
And more importantly ask them straight about their strategy to promote your site for better search engine rankings. Sign the agreement only if you are satisfied with their strategy.
Always remember that good SEO companies will work with you (not alone) to improve your search engine rank.

As a prolific article writer I have been asked by some how I am able to generate so many quality articles in such a short period of time. Frankly, it isnt always easy, but there are some things I would like to share with you in order that you may, perhaps, increase your production as I have. Increased production for you means additional and regular submissions resulting in greater exposure of your name on the world wide web. All of this should translate into more money for you, the chief reason for article marketing I might add.
In a seven month period this past year, I wrote over 400 articles that were submitted to various article directories on the internet. In addition, I wrote another 1100 articles for clients that were then delivered to them to publish on their own sites. These web content articles were all short, concise, and generally averaged below 250 words for each article. Most of my regular articles are typically 500 words in length with the rare article or two approaching 1500 words. Still, this achievement was no small feat for me, especially when the subject matter brought me into unfamiliar territory.
After much trial and error I have learned that the best way for me to keep my production high -- while at the same time delivering useful and interesting content -- meant that I had to streamline my operation. The following are some tried and true practices that I have put to the test and you can too.
Stick With What You Know -- I dont mind writing on subjects that I have little knowledge about, but in doing so I can get bogged down by excess research time. If I am writing for a client, I charge accordingly once they are aware that I am writing in an area that is outside of my particular areas of expertise and they are still desiring to utilize my services. As far as submitting articles to the online directories, I purely keep my subject matter limited to a handful of areas where I shine.
Start, Then Stop -- There are times when I am in the midst of writing an article that I find myself unable to complete my undertaking due to a lack of information. If I cannot garner what I need right away, I put the unfinished article to the side until I obtain the information needed to complete the job. Lets just say that I have a regular supply of go-to articles that I plan on finishing at a later time. I dont get hung up on any one article, instead I move on and focus on the next. Overall, my production level stays high as I dont let one article hamper my work flow.
Outlines, Everywhere -- Well, not exactly. Still, there are times when I am in between projects, but still in the writing mood [which for me is almost always!] Therefore, what I do to stay busy is to craft a list of article subjects or titles and then work on writing an outline or two or threeyou get the picture! Some of these outlines have come in handy when a client requests a specific topic. I simply pull out the outline, expand on each of the points I already have listed, and I flesh out my article. Quickly and almost effortlessly a draft version is ready and sent out for my clients review. At times I use the same technique for submitting work to the various article directories.
Be Consistent -- If you arent writing on a regular basis, getting started again can become much harder to do than if you were to write on a consistent basis. In the days before electronic fuel injection was standard equipment [guess which topic I write on chiefly?], a cold car could take long to warm up. Much like those particular automobiles of yesteryear you need a constant stream of fuel [articles] going to stay warm. The hotter you are, the more you will produce.
In all, article writing is an enjoyable task for some while it is laborious for others. As you write, do not overly concern yourself with style, grammar, punctuation, and verbiage as these are things you can massage once your draft is done. Break free of the article writing rut and get yourself into a working rhythm today. If you do, you will become a recognized and respected author in no time.

Article marketing offers a lot of benefits to marketers who care to do the process right. Aside from the fact that it can boost your website's traffic and sales, it can also help you establish your expertise online to promote rapport and trust among your target market. This can lead to bigger and more responsive email marketing list and more fruitful relationship with your potential audience.
Here are the 4 new secrets to excel with article marketing:
1. Submit your articles to leading publishing sites. When posting your articles online, pick the sites that have great page ranking and steady traffic as these sites are frequented by marketers who are most likely to read and republish your articles should they find them useful and well-written. Don't waste your time and effort to sites that are not even indexed by major search engines as these cannot help you realize your marketing goals.
2. Optimize. Make it easier for search engines to index your articles and for online users to find your content by incorporating relevant keywords on your articles. Strike a good balance between your article word count and the number of your keywords to avoid being tagged as keyword spammer.
3. Use article submission software. Submitting your articles to publishing sites can be tedious, time-consuming, and downright exhausting. Save some time and energy by using software that can automatically distribute your articles to your chosen publishing sites.
4. Write more. To get more quality inbound links for your website, strive to multiply the number of your output. You can easily increase the number of your articles by picking topics that are quick to write like "how-to's" and "10 tips" types of articles. You can also hire ghostwriters who can provide you great content for a minimal fee.

So you created or have hired someone to create some articles. Did you know there are several ways you can benefit from these articles not just one or two ways?
First of all you can submit each article to article directories to get one way links. Even if you are not doing search engine optimization, you will still get benefit by doing article submission. You receive traffic as well.
Second you can put these articles on your website or blog. Create a new page for each article. Content is king on the Internet.
You can contact webmasters which have websites or blogs in your niche and tell them you wish to swap articles or contribute your articles to their blog. Both blogger and wordpress platforms allow you to add authors on your blog. So these webmasters can add you as an author and you can post your articles to their blogs whenever you wish.
Swapping articles means you post the webmasters articles on your blog or website and they put your articles on theirs. This has two benefits. Content and backlinks. Both help search engine rankings. Article exchanges are better than link exchanges, even though they are more difficult to do.
You can visit internet business related forums. See if they have a section where you can trade, swap or exchange links and private message users to ask them for an article exchange. You can also use this technique and contact webmasters asking them to become an author for their blog.
When you become an author of another blog, you can link to your own website from within the article, or by creating a bio. A bio is simple few lines of text that either promotes your websites or talks about you. In bio you put a link to your own website. So it is a win win situation. You can backlinks and the webmasters gets free content.
There are other places you can submit your articles like social bookmarking websites. Simple post your articles on your blog, then bookmark these blog posts.
There are several sites that accept stories, but usually approve also articles, not just stories. There are blog carnivals. These are websites that display top blog posts about a particular subject. There are thousands of blog carnivals on any topic, and you simple submit your blog posts that contain articles to these websites.
You can transform your articles into an ebook. You can put several chapters in the ebook, putting each article as a new chapter. You may want to edit it a bit and you have a ready made ebook. It might not be good idea to try and sell it, since the information is also on your blog for free.
But you can give it away for free and build a list. So people have to optin to your list in order to get a free copy of your ebook. You build your list, and they get free ebook. You can then promote products to your list once you build a relationship with them. But if you do not put the articles on your blog you can sell the ebook.
So do not just submit your articles to article directories like everyone else is doing. Be creative and you get more benefits.

As we study the online article marketing venue, we see so many levels of article authors. We have seasoned veteran writers and even many published novelists as well as individuals who have only written one or two articles. There are complete novices, student, reporters, authors, industry leaders and we can classify them into various categories such as:
Thus if we could design a program to "Catch Mood" and have sub-type designation, similar to the Voice Recognition software which catches "voice inflection" or emotion, no matter what dialect, I think we might have a very good search tool for the reader. Of course this might cost some money, but there are some VC companies in San Jose that I am SURE would like such a tool.
Such a tool could be used for searching thru research papers, intelligence, Blogs, threats, opinions to find information that is relevant and it might also help us find the geniuses, experts, authorities and enlightened individuals who can help with the forward progression of mankind.
You see, I believe, as perhaps Plato did, as he seem to elude to the concept that everyone in a society should do what they are best at and be alleviated from as much of the trivial-ness activities as possible to concentrate on those endeavors.
So the searching tool would not only be hyper-value added for the reader of this site or to add to a semantic search feature on Web 2.0 or 3.0, but might benefit all aspects of sifting thru the 10 plus billion web pages to find what you are truly looking for.
Of course in building any AI system we must remember that software programs of this type work on definitions and not like an actual human brain. But if we can better understand how the human brain does all this and how best to classify the types and sub-types and combinations and anomalies of combos, we might serve us all to a huge degree. So, those are my thoughts.

Productive article marketing is more than just writing articles and posting them in as many places as possible to increase exposure for your business. Its a strategy, and here are six key ways to make it work for you.
Key 1: Be Clear and Be Popular
When you write your article, appeal to as many people as possible. Dont use esoteric words, a lot of acronyms, or other things the average person wont understand. If you are writing for a specific audience you may be able to use a little more than normal, but simple is still best.
Key 2: Use Keywords and Keyword Phrases
Use the search terms someone would enter in search engines to look for that specific article. If its an article on red garden hoses, use that as your search term. If its more general, like hospitals, choose a combination like quality hospitals or orthopedic hospitals if you can be specific.
Key 3: Dont Give it All Away At Once
Hold back some information so you can do an article series. This creates some anticipation and people will look forward to your next one.
Key 4: Market the Articles
Rather than post them on content websites, offer them to webmasters who have similar businesses. Many of them will take you up on a free article in exchange for a backlink.
Key 5: Blog Your Writing
Even if you dont have a lot of articles out there, start a blog about your writing. People will post comments about your type of business in general and give you more ideas for future articles.
Key 6: Write It
If you tell someone you will have an article done for them, make sure you do it. Even if youre offering it for free, dont miss a deadline. Be reliable.

Affiliate marketing is one of the most lucrative and successful online income resources that exist. Most great affiliates have researched many different ways in which they can be successful with their affiliate marketing. This is how they are successful, in fact. Keeping up with an ever-changing market can be tough and sometimes frustrating, but in order to earn a real income as an affiliate, it is necessary. As an affiliate, have you ever considered article marketing? As one of the best ways to generate traffic and build lists, this is a great thing to couple with affiliate marketing.
Article marketing is when you submit your own unique, quality, and keyword-rich articles to article marketing directories like Ezine Articles or Article Feeder. The articles would have to do with the product or service that you are offering, and may outline the benefits or the reasons to purchase this product or service. The best way this is accomplished is with a freelance writer or ghostwriter who can create this article to be subtle but have it speak to potential customers. These articles are published under a corresponding category, and when people search for keywords that are placed in the article, yours pops up. Of course, in order for your article to be displayed with the search results, several things must be accomplished.
First of all, there has to be a correct amount of SEO within the article. Of course, this means keywords. The proper keyword density is around 3 to 5%. When more than this is added, the search engines consider the article to be keyword stuffed, which is pretty much another term for spam. The article also has to flow well in order to interest the readers, and contain enough information for them to trust you and consider you an expert in your niche. After they read the article, they will see your author byline, which will include a call to action and a link to your website. Ideally, if the article is good, they will click on the link, already prepared to purchase a product or service from you. At the very least, you should be able to have them sign up for a free newsletter or something similar so that you can build your list.
Article marketing can be very effective for affiliate marketers in order to boost their business, create more customers and sales, or build their contact list. It is a great addition to the other types of marketing in which affiliate marketers have become proficient. The credibility it creates for you will simply build your reputation as an expert within your niche, and this is great for your career. If you are skilled in SEO and the subtleties of article marketing, try your hand at it today. If you're not, find a great ghostwriter or freelance writer to craft your articles for you! Utilize the tips and ideas within this article to help you get your article marketing campaign started, and increase your affiliate marketing business. Good luck on your journey to great success!
